Mr. Saputra
14 years teaching mathematics in Bogor
- 🇮🇩 Bogor, West Java, Indonesia
- Frangipani Primary School
- Since 1978
- English, Indonesian
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 48 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Saputra
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Saputra: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
