For 38 years I have been the social studies teacher at St. Mary's Technical College. I teach Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Over the years I've had 2,240 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Mr. Santiago: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

I was in your Grade 6 class in 2003. You believed I could do it before I did. Truly.

you taught me social studies in 2012 at St. Mary's Technical College. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.

You taught me social studies in 2010 at St. Mary's Technical College. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
