Mr. Sanders
History and mathematics teacher, Pittsburgh
- 🇺🇸 Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States
- Crown Primary School
- 1978 to 2002
- English
I taught history at Crown Primary School in Pittsburgh from 1978 to 2002. Most days I taught Year 9, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I had 1,080 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Sanders
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Sanders: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
