I teach social studies and French at Good Shepherd Boys' School, Oakland. I answer every email, even at midnight.
I've coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Mr. Sánchez: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
