Mr. Salim
Retired social studies teacher from Bayview Primary School
- 🇰🇪 Kikuyu, Kiambu, Kenya
- Bayview Primary School
- 1991 to 2008
- English, Swahili
I taught social studies at Bayview Primary School in Kikuyu from 1991 to 2008. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Salim
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Salim: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
