I taught geography at Redwood Middle School in Mombasa from 2014 to 2025. Most days I taught primary school children, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

What gifts mean to Mr. Salim: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
