I taught geography at Stonebridge Technical College in Cairo from 1986 to 2002. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Mr. Saleh
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Saleh: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
