Mr. Salami
Taught drama at Gateway Primary School
- 🇳🇬 Zaria, Kaduna, Nigeria
- Gateway Primary School
- 2011 to 2020
- English, Igbo
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I'm learning the guitar. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Mr. Salami
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mr. Salami: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me drama in 2019 at Gateway Primary School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
