I teach art at Gaziantep Girls' School in Gaziantep since 2003. Most days I teach Grade 8, and I answer every email, even at midnight.
I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Şahin
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Mr. Şahin: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
