I teach mathematics and English literature at Istanbul Middle School, Istanbul. I learn every name in the first week.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Mr. Şahin
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Şahin: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
