Mr. Sabbagh
16 years teaching music in Cairo
- 🇪🇬 Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
- Silverlake Grammar School
- Since 2017
- English, Arabic
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 500 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Sabbagh
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me music in 2023 at Silverlake Grammar School. I still remember that terrible school play. Truly.

You taught me music in 2024 at Silverlake Grammar School. I still remember the time the class pet escaped.
