Mr. Ruiz
29 years teaching English literature in Madrid
- 🇪🇸 Madrid, Madrid, Spain
- Madrid Middle School
- 2000 to 2021
- Spanish
I taught English literature at Madrid Middle School in Madrid from 2000 to 2021. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Ruiz
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
