Mr. Ruiz
Economics and chemistry teacher, Coatzacoalcos
- 🇲🇽 Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, Mexico
- Beacon Academy
- Since 1980
- English, Spanish
For 46 years I have been the economics teacher at Beacon Academy. I teach Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Mr. Ruiz
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Mr. Ruiz: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me economics in 2008 at Beacon Academy. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.

You taught me economics in 1996 at Beacon Academy. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.
