I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 28 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the science fair after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I fix old bicycles.
More about Mr. Ruiz
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Mr. Ruiz: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me Spanish in 2013 at Victory Technical College. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand. Thank you again.
