I teach early years at La Plata Girls' School in La Plata since 1981. Most days I teach the final-year class, and I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Romero
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Romero: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

I failed early years twice before you. After you I passed with a B. Thank you. Greetings from Soweto.
