I teach Spanish at Saint Petersburg Secondary School in Saint Petersburg since 1984. Most days I teach the final-year class, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 2,140 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Romanov
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Mr. Romanov: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
