Mr. Rojas
History and social studies teacher, Medellín
- 🇨🇴 Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia
- Bayview Technical College
- Since 1994
- Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 32 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Rojas
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Rojas: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
