Mr. Rivera
Retired history teacher from Cairns High School
- 🇦🇺 Cairns, Queensland, Australia
- Cairns High School
- 2000 to 2013
- English
For 13 years I was the history teacher at Cairns High School. I taught Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
More about Mr. Rivera
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mr. Rivera: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
