Mr. Ríos
Taught special education at Columbus Middle School
- 🇺🇸 Columbus, Georgia, United States
- Columbus Middle School
- 1983 to 1999
- English, Spanish
For 16 years I was the special education teacher at Columbus Middle School. I taught Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I never once raised my voice.
I'm still learning every day.

If you were in my Grade 6 class, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
