Mr. Rios
27 years teaching French in Newcastle upon Tyne
- 🇬🇧 Newcastle upon Tyne, England, United Kingdom
- Hope Grammar School
- Since 1979
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 47 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Rios
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Rios: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
