I teach biology and economics at Valley View Middle School, Valencia. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 1,280 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Mr. Ríos: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
