Mr. Richter
23 years teaching home economics in Essen
- 🇩🇪 Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany
- Essen Grammar School
- 2013 to 2021
- German
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and eight years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 420 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Richter
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Richter: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
