Mr. Rice
36 years teaching Spanish in Manukau
- 🇳🇿 Manukau, Auckland, New Zealand
- Jacaranda Middle School
- Since 1986
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 40 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Mr. Rice
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Rice: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me Spanish in 1998 at Jacaranda Middle School. I still remember the last day before the summer holidays.

I was in your first-year students class in 2022. You believed I could do it before I did.
