I taught music at Hillcrest Grammar School in Porto Alegre from 1993 to 2015. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I played music while people worked.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Mr. Ribeiro
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mr. Ribeiro: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
