Mr. Rathnayake
Economics and history teacher, Dehiwala
- 🇱🇰 Dehiwala, Western, Sri Lanka
- Baobab Grammar School
- Since 1991
- English
I teach economics at Baobab Grammar School in Dehiwala since 1991. Most days I teach the youngest children, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I've coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Mr. Rathnayake
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

You taught me economics in 1996 at Baobab Grammar School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

I was in your the youngest children class in 2011. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from London.
