Mr. Rathnam
Economics and accounting teacher, Rohini
- 🇮🇳 Rohini, Delhi, India
- Sakura Secondary School
- Since 1980
- English, Malayalam, French
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 46 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 2,710 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Mr. Rathnam: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
