Mr. Rashidi
French and geography teacher, Mbale
- 🇺🇬 Mbale, Eastern Region, Uganda
- Acacia Grammar School
- Since 2016
- English, French
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and ten years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Rashidi
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mr. Rashidi: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
