I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 14 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 690 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mr. Rashid
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Rashid: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me mathematics in 2021 at Maple Ridge Technical College. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
