For 46 years I have been the biology teacher at Lotus Public School. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Rao
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Mr. Rao: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
