Mr. Ramos
36 years teaching home economics in Vancouver
- 🇨🇦 Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
- Sakura Public School
- 1984 to 2009
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 25 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Ramos
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Ramos: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
