Mr. Purnomo
English literature and art teacher, Jakarta
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Holy Cross Academy
- Since 2006
- English, Spanish
For 20 years I have been the English literature teacher at Holy Cross Academy. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Purnomo
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Purnomo: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
