Mr. Pretorius
Retired special education teacher from Hope Middle School
- 🇿🇦 Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa
- Hope Middle School
- 1983 to 1992
- English, French
I taught special education at Hope Middle School in Soweto from 1983 to 1992. Most days I taught teenagers, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I had 400 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Pretorius
If you were in my teenagers class, you probably remember the long bus ride home.

What gifts mean to Mr. Pretorius: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
