Mr. Powers
Teacher at Pittsburgh Girls' School, loves design and technology

For 26 years I have been the design and technology teacher at Pittsburgh Girls' School. I teach the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mr. Powers
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Powers: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
