Mr. Powers

- 🇺🇸 Winston-Salem, North Carolina, United States
- Winston-Salem Girls' School
- 1999 to 2020
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 21 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, my door was open at lunch.
More about Mr. Powers
If you were in my mixed-ability classes class, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
What gifts mean to Mr. Powers: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
