For 39 years I have been the chemistry teacher at Austin Middle School. I teach Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 940 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Mr. Powers: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
