Mr. Powell
Chemistry and home economics teacher, Dallas
- 🇺🇸 Dallas, Texas, United States
- Dallas High School
- 2002 to 2010
- English
I taught chemistry at Dallas High School in Dallas from 2002 to 2010. Most days I taught teenagers, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I had 270 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Powell
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Powell: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
