Mr. Poudel
Biology and history teacher, Lalitpur
- 🇳🇵 Lalitpur, Bagmati, Nepal
- Victory Technical College
- Since 1982
- English, Nepali
For 44 years I have been the biology teacher at Victory Technical College. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I learn every name in the first week.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Poudel
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Mr. Poudel: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

I was in your mixed-ability classes class in 2006. You believed I could do it before I did! Greetings from Barcelona.

You taught me biology in 2002 at Victory Technical College. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

You taught me biology in 2013 at Victory Technical College. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
