Mr. Porter
Mathematics teacher at Baobab Academy, Since 2008
- 🇳🇿 Wellington, Wellington, New Zealand
- Baobab Academy
- Since 2008
- English
I teach mathematics at Baobab Academy in Wellington since 2008. Most days I teach the youngest children, and I learn every name in the first week.
Over the years I've had 630 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Porter
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Porter: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me mathematics in 2008 at Baobab Academy. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
