For 37 years I have been the music teacher at Valley View Academy. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I never raise my voice.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Mr. Ponomarenko: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
