Mr. Polat
Retired history teacher from Westbrook Technical College

I taught history at Westbrook Technical College in Istanbul from 2009 to 2019. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I had 580 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Polat
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Polat: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
