For 33 years I was the Spanish teacher at Mumbai Academy. I taught primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Mr. Phadke
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me Spanish in 2007 at Mumbai Academy. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam
