Mr. Petersen
Design and technology and computer science teacher, Johannesburg
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Johannesburg Middle School
- Since 1989
- English, Afrikaans
I teach design and technology at Johannesburg Middle School in Johannesburg since 1989. Most days I teach the youngest children, and I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
Over the years I've had 1,700 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Petersen
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me design and technology in 1992 at Johannesburg Middle School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

You taught me design and technology in 2024 at Johannesburg Middle School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
