For 48 years I have been the physics teacher at New York High School. I teach teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I never turn anyone away.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Mr. Perkins: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

I was in your teenagers class in 1979. You believed I could do it before I did

You taught me physics in 2014 at New York High School. I still remember the last day before the summer holidays
