Mr. Perera
Teacher at Sunrise Middle School, loves social studies
- 🇱🇰 Jaffna, Northern, Sri Lanka

I teach social studies at Sunrise Middle School in Jaffna since 1996. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I never raise my voice.
Over the years I've had 1,140 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Mr. Perera: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
