Mr. Peng
French and accounting teacher, Bakersfield
- 🇺🇸 Bakersfield, California, United States
- Bakersfield Academy
- Since 1996
- English, Mandarin
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 30 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 690 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Mr. Peng: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
