Mr. Peña
Environmental science and biology teacher, Bucaramanga
- 🇨🇴 Bucaramanga, Santander, Colombia
- Rosewood Girls' School
- 1993 to 2013
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 20 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 380 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Peña
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Peña: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me environmental science in 2012 at Rosewood Girls' School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

You taught me environmental science in 2023 at Rosewood Girls' School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
