Mr. Peña
38 years teaching early years in Oakland
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States

I taught early years at Oakland Middle School in Oakland from 1982 to 2006. Most days I taught Year 10, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I had 1,420 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Mr. Peña: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
