For 19 years I was the early years teacher at Thrissur Secondary School. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 1,080 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Patil
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Patil: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
