I taught mathematics at Sakura Primary School in Riverside from 1996 to 2019. Most days I taught the final-year class, and my door was open at lunch.
Over the years I had 780 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
