For 40 years I have been the art teacher at Our Lady of Peace Public School. I teach the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Mr. Patel: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
